- Why Hayden's Heart
Many of you might be wondering why we give to charity and why choose Hayden's Heart? For starters, we have a DEEP love for children. They are so smart, caring and often times tame the hardest of hearts. Anyway, at my current job, we celebrate each employees birthday by buying cakes. I decided why not give the cake money to charity. My manager found the charity from one of her facebook posts. She was kind enough to donate on the company's behalf. I was clueless until one day my manager presented me with a thank you card (from Hayden's heart). My heart melted seeing the baby and knowing that my manger donated to a charity that I would appreciate. It soon dropped when I read how Hayden passed away. The charity was formed to raise awareness for babies who are hospitalized and are in need of funds to minimized the hospital costs. One or two years later, my business was formed and I made it my duty to contact this charity. I asked if it was ok to donate and of course we had a trial contract. Ever since 2015 or so, we've been constantly sending 10% of all sales (no matter how big or small the monthly profits are). Below is a little more about the charity and always feel free to visit our site or theirs http://haydensheart.org for more information: Hayden's Heart is a non-profit 501(c)(3) that has been created to honor Hayden Jeter Dorsett. Our mission with his foundation is to raise CHD awareness and to keep Hayden's Memory alive by helping families affected by CHD. Hayden's Heart is a local charity in New Jersey which makes it a bonus. #charity #haydensheart #love #blog #blogger #blogpost #bethedifference #btdllc #inspirational #motivation #mother
- What's really Freedom Anyway
There will be a pivotal point in your life where you start questioning what freedom is and how much of it you have. According to the dictionary this is what freedom means: the power or right to act, speak, or think as one wants without hindrance or restraint Do you feel you've exercised freedom throughout your life? Take a moment and think of times when this has applied. Ok; now, think of the various influences you have. Imagine that their viewpoint never existed. Would your thought process still be the same? If no are you willing to go against the grain to tell your influencers that their viewpoint is no longer relevant. Now turn the TV, radio and internet off for a day or two. Are you will to try a new journey? To be truly free is to be without all of these external influences. When you unplug, you allow your higher power (whoever/whatever that is) to remind you of what's important, where you should be and how to effect the lives you encounter. Life is beautiful and can be very inspirational. Are you willing to accept a challenge to unplug for FREEDOM? #bethedifference #socks #soul #socklover #blog #blogger #blogpost #freedom #btdllc #motivation #inspirational #jersey #hoboken #newark #newjersey #newyork #bayonnenj #usa #shopping
- Communication
Cannot begin to tell how many relationships have been damaged for lack of communication. There are many wishes to turn back the hand of time to redo or say something differently. Moving forward, below are some helpful hints to help make communication easier for all parties: 1. If you begin to feel things are going wrong, talk about it. Feelings matter. 2. Never go to sleep angry. 3. Give each person a chance to talk and LISTEN. 4. Always having an answer isn't necessary. 5. Never give up trying to understand another persons point of view. 6. Speak in a non threatening tone of voice. Hopefully you've all gained or reinforced a sense of how to communicate more effectively. - Why choose Be The Difference Clothing
This company was established in August of 2014. Most if not all the designs or sayings are created to inspire and encourage the wearer and those who see the designs. Some designs are inspired by personal experiences and others from situations seen or heard. I distinctly remember the moment I decided to make t-shirts. I was driving home from an event when for the first time in my life I saw a person “stuck”. They were literally standing on the corner bent backwards just swaying a little. After I drove by, it just hit me … and I remember thinking to myself, what am I doing I am, I'm no different from the next person who just says to themselves, wow so sad. I felt could no longer stomach being a passerby. It took guts and battling fear of being rejected to create the Addiction Kills The Family t-shirt. I am at the point where the concern is in comforting and supporting those in need. This company has many discussion pieces and light hearted playful themes that it can appeal to any age, race or understanding. #tshirts #bethedifference #newark #wellness #write #recover #addiction #peace #blog #faith #blogger #respect #symbiosis #shirts #belief #acceptance #btdllc #history #tshirts #blogpost #writer #motivation #inspirational #social
- Order
In life, many unexpected situations come about. These situations can often affect not only the person involved, but also those who are surrounded. It takes a lot of disciple and time to make sure the following is in order. 1. Your House - Be sure there is peace and serenity. How to do this you ask ... turn off the television and learn more about yourself or whoever you share the space with. 2. Your Job - Leave enough time to arrive on time or early. This will give you time to settle in and clear your mind for whatever situation arises. Also be willing to learn and grow in your current position. No position is to great or small. Everyone plays a vital role. 3. Your Life - Ask yourself often .... Am I happy, sad, or hungry. You will be surprised how your mood can change if you simply understand how you're feeling. Lastly, there is no right way to have order, but we inspire and motivate you to try 1 or 2 of these suggestions. Let us know how you feel. Give yourself a fighting chance and some credit. #bethedifference #newark #wellness #heart #faith #write #worth #blogpost #awareness #history #btdllc #clothing #dmv #woke #social #tshirts #tee #shopsmall #brand #life

- Happy Trio- Taking Care of “The Self”: Spirit
In the last few posts, we covered the importance of the mind and the body, and how these two necessary components are connected to one another; you cannot have one without the other. This final selection will help to wrap up the whole trifecta. While some may find it discourteous, I mean no disrespect and I encourage the reader to open their heart, and consider a different perspective that may in the end, actually coincide with your own convictions. Arguably the most controversial piece of the Happy Trio, because every cohort and individual has their own interpretation of it, the final element is regarded by many as the spirit, or soul. It is a great part of many religious texts and considered as an eternal light, so to speak, that exists within all of us. Personally, while I do have a great respect for these institutions and belief systems, I am no religious scholar, pastor, imam, or a part of any of the sorts; I am just a man who chooses to help people in any positive way through life, no matter what size. I feel that part of my purpose of the time spent here through this human experience is to help others through my writing as well as via in- person interactions; thus, we all help one another symbiotically. This section is pure self- interpretation, self- reflection and derived through time spent in churches, mosques, and conversations with Buddhists and individuals who themselves, choose to live a life of peace and compassion to build their own “Happy Trio” into a complete and working organism. The spirit is unexplainable. Once an individual speaks on the spirit, it can be a lie, because one cannot capture the spirit through words, or even see the spirit through visual perception. Like the concept of a supreme being, the spirit cannot be captured or experienced, it can only be realized. A spiritual yogi I once spent much quality time with told me those words; “the spirit can only be realized.” I remember asking her how long she took for her to reach that conclusion, and how she reached it, she replied to me, with every answer I reached, another presented itself. Explaining the spirit is a never ending journey within one’s own being. With every destination that is reached, there will always be another. The element of the spirit is a personal journey and cannot come from any other human outside of your person. Other people though, can help you attain a better understanding and/ or different perspective. Many others, who come from different walks of life, have helped me. If you have been following this series which I have entitled, Happy Trio, you’ve read how the mind is important to constantly work with and improve. Its strength is vital, as it is the control center. Next, the body was highlighted. The body’s importance is after the mind because it can fail, and the mind can keep you moving through life. Take the late Stephen Hawking as a great example of this. With the both of these aspects working as best as one can, that individual will feel a great sense of completeness within them self. I believe that a spirit lives within every living being on the planet. For example, there is something inside of you that your mind can choose to dig out from inside of the body to keep you pushing through a situation that is stress filled. If you have ever heard the words, Dig Deep, that is what you are looking for in that moment; the rest of what is left inside of you, your spirit. Your mind and body may have been weakened by a tragic event, or simply through a tough workout, but when you Dig Deep, that is when the spirit kicks in, I believe. The power and will of the spirit can carry you through, when the muscles give out and your mind begins to decide to say to you, ok, that is enough, maybe tomorrow. Instead, in that moment you search within yourself, maybe unknowingly and the spirit kicked in to help you on that last mile, or last rep at the gym. The spirit is unbreakable and has an eternal existence. Your body and mind will eventually waste away, but the spirit will live on forever. There was a time in my life when a close buddy of mine passed away. I was 21 and still in school and I remember having to take a final exam around the time of his passing. My mind could not focus in those weeks and my body had begun to give up already. It was hard to focus study and solely do what I was there to do, which was get good grades. I will never forget how studying for this particular economics final, felt like the death of me; or so I thought. After a few weeks of poor and unfocused studying, the exam date came. I remember walking into the room as nervous as a cat ready for a bath. I took that exam and was surprised with the results. I got an A on that econ final and a B+ in the class. Through my own personal health problems and the passing of my buddy, I suppose I chose to Dig Deep within myself to find the time to prepare myself as best as I could; either this by itself, or a combination of many other variables. I believe my buddy Tony was there helping me study in the preceding weeks as well as that afternoon. His spirit lived on and preformed one more miracle with my own; to help me through that exam. There is no physical way to prove this to anyone but myself, but I know there was something greater with me during that exam; I felt so unprepared and unfocused. It may have been Tony’s spirit, or a supreme being itself, but the spirit tapped in during those moments and helped me realize something greater in the following days; another part of this journey of realizing the spirit. The spirit is real and I encourage and hope that the reader searches for it within them self. You will find the realization of the spirit. Dig Deep. Remember those words the next time you feel like giving in. Dig DEEP. Uncover the importance of the trifecta; The Happy Trio. - Happy Trio - Part II - Taking Care of “The Self”: BODY
The body is a very expensive car that is actually priceless. Transportation for the mind and soul is the body. Imagine that you have recently purchased the car that you have always desired. The outside of the car is spotless and the inside, equally as pristine. The heart of the car, the engine, is pristine, and revs with the sound of 500 horses stampeding across the land. One would never thing twice to damage that car in any way, shape or form. This car represents your body. In the last post, we touched on the importance of the mind and the power that it has; channeling that power ties into this next post, having to do with the body. Your body is a complicated collection of internal organs and exterior extremities. Many people around the world choose to place a focus on the keeping their body strong so they may be able to move properly and feel good about themselves. While this is important to look good, it is far more important to feel good as well. Through a gym regimen or a simple stroll down the street once a day, a person should be able to maintain an even flow of oxygen within their blood stream, helping them to maximize their bodily potential. For the people who are unable to walk down the street, or maintain a dedicated, daily routine of what they may constitute as a workout, it is also imperative that you find a way to move the body however said person should see fit. Personally, there was a time in my life when for two months I could not move my right leg properly. In addition, my right hand was unable to open, to grip an item as small and light as a pencil. During those months I remember first, strengthening my mind so I could build up what little confidence I remember having, to build up my own mind so I may move on to the next step; my body. I first started with my hand. The first month, I would do exercises, trying to remember how to open my hand. These began as small steps, every single day. I remember having to skip class and take a smaller course load so I could focus on the function of my body; mainly my right leg and hand. About ¾ through the first month I remember finally being able to pick up the pencil for small amounts of time, but any progress is a step forward, no matter how small it may seem. I did this day in and day out until I was finally able to grip the pencil and write my name. It was such a euphoric feeling, that I could not stop there. I needed to get to campus and walk to class. 1/4th through the second month of this ordeal, is when the hard part started; the right leg. Now it was time to make it downstairs to the community gym that the apartment complex where I was living at the time had available. Back then I refused to use a cane to walk because I can be a very stubborn person. Nonetheless, by that time I had built up enough confidence within my mind to not worry about the stares and glares of the people who I walked past on my way to the gym. At the end of the day this was my health; this was my body and had to make a change. I made a decision to focus very hard on one thing; being able to walk on campus and to class. This too was a process in itself. No matter how much it physically hurt, or would embarrass me, I made a choice to better my body irrespective of all of that. I began limping down stairs every single day, to ride a stationary bicycle, as well as lift light weights to build muscle that had been lost through a process known as muscle atrophy; the loss of muscle mass due to not using a certain muscle group on the body. During this time I learned to cook nutritious meals and not only built myself back up to a stable gait when walking (as stable as can be for someone with my condition), but I also built more confidence in my mind that I could do anything, even though I knew the reality, which was that I could not do EVERYTHING that I used to be able to. From this brief example, one can see the importance of the body and how it is connected to maintaining a strong mind. I am in no way saying that this is easy; it was actually one of the most difficult things I had ever done in my life and involved many moments of pain, both physically and mentally, as well as moments of doubt and despair. Personally, it is still something I try to maintain every single day. Through focusing on building a strong mind (as strong as you can) and strong will of that mind, the body will follow the mind (the control center) every time and you WILL find some semblance of peace and success. I wish this reader the best on your journey, whatever it may entail. Whether beautiful, good, bad or ugly, you will find a way to your top. Your journey has just begun. Keep your body as healthy as it will allow you to. It is the only vehicle that matters. #mind #body #soul #blog #blogger #wellness #tshirts #spirit #spirituality #inspirational #motivation
- Happy Trio - PART I - Taking Care of “The Self”: MIND
Your body {mind } and spirit; perhaps others would prefer to refer to it as soul. To explain the body and mind, many scholars and great thinkers have naturally turned to science; an explanation of situations we can experience through our five senses, to rationalize the world around us. Hard science based of factual, physical evidence that has been proven, while there are others of us who have turned to a more traditional explanation, via a set of beliefs, to help them further comprehend the human condition, including a strong faith in a supreme being that is the master of the universe; religion. Either way you choose to lean, the statement still remains, that these three faculties are what have been used as an aid to describe the state of humanity for many ages both scientifically and religiously; a way of explaining ourselves, to ourselves. The existence of this trio, that being, the mind, body and spirit, and their importance to one another makes this trio of high importance. It has been said that with a balance of these faculties- the mind body and spirit- an individual can reach a point of peace and calm within themselves, helping that person to weave through life’s leaps and bounds with greater ease and seeming effortlessness, while maintaining a true and authentic sense of self. For instance, yogis and monks choose to live a life away from materialism and focus on centering themselves to connect with their higher selves. They choose walk a completely different path in life and shed all worldly possessions to attaining a better understanding of the human condition, finding answers from within one’s own self, as opposed to without. The world at large is a place filled with many distractions, at times making it difficult to operate. Regardless, one must continue on with their life and make the best of it, no matter the circumstances. In this piece I will illuminate how by taking care of “The Self,†one may find that balance between the mind, body and spirit. Everything on earth is connected; the beautiful with the ugly and good with the bad. In the following will be a 3 part blog post and we will outline the importance of each entity, how best to maintain each one and in the final post, describe the full connection between the mind, body and spirit (soul). The Mind All you need is your mind, and to manage that mind. It is the ability to maneuver an ostentatious matrix within one’s own being which will prove most important; The Self. Each head has its own physical brain that serves as its command center and inner world, like that of no other, which interprets its surrounding world in a different tune than the next brain. Maintaining the mind is among the most important aspects of balancing “The Self,†because it is the area of control for everything inside and out of your known existence. The mind can take you from living in a modest, yet outdated basement, to a comfortable beachfront villa in Nice, France; then you wake up. The mind can also, literally map out steps on how to make a move from that modest, yet outdated place that you need a break from, to a villa in Nice, France; the choice is yours. I am not one for clichés, but I firmly believe in the power of the mind. If you look at any great story, it started in an individual’s mind. As an example, take you waking up this morning; the continuation of the greatest and most important story you have been writing for years. Are you going to give up now? No. That is the power of the mind; simple decisions that connect to one another through time, to finally yield the result of the mind’s choosing. A subtle, however complex simplicity that composes a paradox of daily does and do nots. To master the mind is a never ending process and will last through a person’s lifetime. There is no end to the pursuit of mastering the mind. It is the greatest and only instrument, of which a living being is in need of to survive; the ultimate tool. No human, I believe, has ever mastered the mind of their own. I have created a formula. This formula was built as a grandfather’s tool box was. Each tool was acquired as time went by. A lump sum was never the way of the tool box. That is neither the path nor way of the toolbox. To neither master the mind or enhance it, but to provide a healthy structure and system of beliefs to maintain and reinforce its own strength. Through discipline, self-control, gratitude, a healthy confidence and belief system, the mind will maintain its strength. The choice is yours. Through the beauty of BeTheDifferenceLLC, I have conjured up a formula which I call, D.S.G.C.B, to help maintain the strength of the mind. DISCIPLINE- To discipline the mind is to maintain a strict level of self-respect within one’s self. Without respect for “The Self,†a mind cannot uphold its true desires and virtues. Take a week or two, to truly analyze your mind. See where and what it flows, and what it focuses on and I suggest that you to that drift. Remember that your INTENTION combined with your ATTENTION will result in your reality; every time. The mind never stops working. During these few weeks, you may notice things about yourself that you both love, and would rather not change, or there may be some things that you hate and feel the need to improve on. It is all connected. Neither praise, nor come down on yourself. Just let things be and explore your being. By analyzing “The Self†you may find a great deal more about yourself that you never knew, bringing about moments for self-improvement and brief reflection, which will result in positive outcomes inside of you mind. Take brief notes, daily, to reflect on your day before you go to bed. Write down what you can improve upon to help your mind maintain a stronger discipline. This may sound like another cliché, but TRUST ME, when you feel the results in a few weeks, you’ll say thank you to yourself. Love “The Self.†SELF- CONTROL- This point is deeply connected to the last. Discipline and self-control may be synonymous in the sense that they both require the mind to maintain a certain level of responsibility. Self- control is mainly regarding the resistance of external influences that have no true value with respect to your abundance in life. For a widely known example, many individuals choose to drink heavily on weekends with friends to “let loose.†While this may seem, and may actually be fun and exciting in the moment, there is no real benefit to loosing yourself†in a club, or bar or party, just so you can feel numb to your problems and â€escape for the moment.†A sense of self- control is making a choice with “The Self†to both go out- and have one drink- or none at all. Through self- control you will develop a habit to enjoy life without any extremities; the freedom is boundless. Abstaining from external vices and muses will keep you aligned with your authentic self. The mind will thank you for your services and reward you with happiness and appreciation through the secretion of a D.O.S.E. of a natural high (dopamine, oxytocin, serotonin, and endorphins); natural and happy brain chemicals that are released through moments of satisfaction. Self- control is a small step that will pile on quicker than you can imagine. Control “The Self.†GRATITUDE- Gratitude is the best attitude. The quality of being thankful; readiness to show appreciation for and to return kindness. Each variable of the D.S.G.C.B. formula for maintaining “The Self†as best as possible is absolutely intentional. There will be days in which one must put forth a concerted effort to feel a certain way on purpose. Intentionally counting your blessings or all of the valuable things in your life will not only produce a â€feel good good€ feeling, but remind yourself that you are ok and have a good life. Many times in life, we have grand ideas and goals that we have a strong desire in accomplish, but certain events get in the way. Maybe you had a goal of winning a state championship in your sport, but got injured in the last game of the regular season. This is a great example of an individual who worked hard, not only all season, but up until the point of injury. In no way, shape or form is it easy for that person to give in and just wake up one day, to be a gratuitous person, but the first day in the physical recovery process is also the first day of the mental recovery as well. All of the anger, frustration and sadness will consume the mind of that athlete is they do no mind the business of their mind. Monitoring their own thoughts will help them along the way. This hypothetical example is a great one because it leaves the athlete with nothing. They are left with a broken body and spirit. It is the mind’s choice to keep moving forward and work towards a recovery. With a strong mind and gratuitous thinking, or counting their blessings, there can be no failure, only valuable lessons to be learned. Gratitude is great. CONFIDENCE- To have confidence is to hold a key; a very special and unique key that first unlocks the doors to your inner world, only to express that world towards the outer world. Holding this confidence key will lead you in the direction of your choosing with poise and assurance. Again, intentionally making a decision to craft a great confidence within one’s self is as a house of bricks, built over a series of days, or even years. Remember, your house is your house and need not be compared to the next. No one individual has the same bricks as you. The time in which your house of bricks is built has no limit, other than that of which the mind sets in place. This brick house of confidence is for “The Self.†Build intentionally and with an unwavering focus by stepping out of your comfort zone once a day. This will help you grow, in that you will be exposed to situations that you would have never have even thought of before. The pursuit of new experiences is a part of life I believe is necessary to grow and to maintain the mind’s dexterity. Add, or subtract, bricks to your house of confidence, daily. BELIEF- There are moments in which we will lose faith, or at the least our faith will be tried and tested. Faith in a hero of ours, our belief system or religion, or even our very own self will be questioned. You may change as a person. When life gets difficult, this is when our minds drift the most. By drift I mean, we question every decision we have made, or live on with regrets. The reality is that life is a roller coaster. There are very, very high ups and extremely lonely down times; we will all experience this, knowing none of it lasts forever. When you are feeling high and at the top of your game, it is only a matter of time before you feel the opposite, and vice versus. Compounding some sort of belief system within “The Self†is the final variable to the formula because is absolutely reinforces the previous 4. If you do not train the mind to believe, actually and intentionally believe, that you are a good person, who has the capability to become even better, then the rest of the formula may fall apart. If your belief is in a higher power, or religion then use that as the final part of the D.S.G.C.B. formula. One must develop a strong belief in something greater than their self. This will keep you humble and understanding that although you are the coolest and most amazing person on the planet, there are almost 8 billion other individuals who are sharing this time and space with you for their while. It is important to keep this understanding. The older you get, the more knowledgeable you will become. With this knowledge comes a responsibility to not only share that knowledge with those around you, but understand that you are still a child with respect to the knowledge of the universe. Believe in yourself and the world at large, and you will find your way. - SILVER LINING
Silver Lining Things happen; many events, hurdles and experiences happen in life- obviously- and will continue in this fashion. I have searched for reasons as to why these “things” happen but, sometimes not a single word can be found to explain why. I believe that the universe, or God, has a divine plan to explain these happenings as our lives continue on and it is for us to find the most positive meaning; a silver lining. Although it may prove rather difficult to overcome many of these happenings and remain strong through the loud storm that may present itself in our lives, I propose that you adamantly attempt to find a deeper meaning or, ‘the silver lining’ in the storm. Imagine a ship. A rather expensive ship; you are on that ship. It has been some weeks in which you, your shipmates and the crew members have been sailing the beautiful blue ocean. During these weeks, the sun has been shining bright and not a cloud could be found in the sky. During the time of night, the moon illuminates the ocean, reflecting much of the beauty which nature may bless our eyes with. This may describe life most of the time; warm, calm and smooth sailing. Now imagine for a moment, that there is a storm which presents itself and swiftly swipes through the ocean to carry the ship which you are on, to a specific destination of its own choosing. As the storm passes by it eventually destroys this million dollar ship. The storm passes. A well trained rescue team was able to arrive swiftly to carry the majority of survivors on the ship to safety. The ship was searched high and low by the rescue team but, they were unable to find your living body. After you awaken from an unconscious state, you search the entire vessel yourself but find it empty with no other life aboard, leaving you shocked, angry and saddened that you were left there. Why me? All that was left was the nonperishable food and the ship, books and yourself. Imagine the engine has been destroyed and you are now stranded in the middle of the deep, blue ocean. As you float along aboard the boat you excitedly set your eyes on land to notice the ship floating further and further away from the land. With each passing moment, hope within you is lost as if it was water on your hands, until land can no longer be seen. Now there seems to be no hope of being rescued, only that which lies dormant inside of you….. ******************************************************************************************************************************************** “I am lost in this ocean. I am lost at sea. No one is around but me. My bones chill under the heat of the sun, as my skin freezes under the moon. There are moments where my eyes can see land, and I count the minutes until I can no longer see it. The ocean is such a tease. The dolphins come to say hello, but leave swiftly as they have their own. The ship and I are nothing to them but a vessel that was broken long ago. There is enough food for weeks and drinks to last. Like my former self, the sharks anxiously wait for my demise, impatiently cackling at me as the wind carries the boat wherever it sees fit. I am now like a bag in the wind. On any given day I meditate and pray, but have found that hope seems unreasonable and irrational, as there is nothing current but acute pain and desperate wishes. People only listened to me when I presented negativity to them so I curse at God, assuming God may be cursing back at me; at the most I feel that God would listen to that. At times our relationship seems at an impasse; at least from me toward this omniscient being we have all agreed to call God. True faith is tested not before the storm, but during and after it. I remember being so consumed with life’s desires and necessities that I rarely thought about God; outside of Sundays. I really hope he hears my. My faith swings back and forth like this now useless boat in the ocean; it’s all connected. In fact, I realize that my mind mostly focused on God in moments of triumph, and questioned God in times of tribulation. Why me? I always felt closest to God when nothing was there, and now nothing is here; what a hypocrite, I am. I am now part of the natural motion of the earth. No desires, no lust, no need, outside of my need to be on land again. God’s preservation of my body seems a pointless and treacherous torcher. Why me? My preservation here keeps my faith strong towards this- God- as I find we are the only two out here on this boat, in this deep blue ocean. Every day is sunny and every night the ocean is smooth, yet eerily silent. These abundant waters speak to me. I think God is everywhere and always was. Only memories of my past life remain; they are written in eternity and along with my faith, keep me alive within this seemingly unreasonable moment of destruction. I presume these memories were only for my pleasure so I may reflect in these moments of hopelessness. Everything is connected and led to this point in life. They say God is omniscient, omnipotent and omnibenevolent. As the days swing by this knowledge and holding a relentless faith, I now understand that the entity known as God is powerful enough to free me from this desperate situation, God knew I would eventually find my way here and God loves me regardless of how it goes. I try and keep it simple. My mind recognizes that even if I do survive this ordeal, who but me would really believe what happened here, on this million dollar boat; more memories etched in eternity and all of them only for me. There must be a reason for which I remain in this world; food for sharks and a dramatic comedy for dolphins to enjoy. The search party seems to have given up. The planes pass over my head like a luxurious laughing bird, while the birds do the same. I think to myself how free and wonderful it must be to have wings of the air or sea, so I may have an escape from this once million dollar boat. But the words, they remain; the words on my brain. They are transcribed in pain and in sorrow and written as wishes for today and tomorrow. This hopeless monotony is enough to drive a grown man insane, so combined with faith, the writing keeps me well-balanced. These words may not find another, yet are stuffed in a bottle, floating aimlessly to buoyantly find their way to shore; like this boat and I, they are also bags in the wind. There is hope in the bottle after all; albeit, the smallest amount of hope. I realize there is no one human that can save me, but myself- and the energy which we call God. There is nothing but hope in these words that are placed inside of these bottles. Not for me to be saved, but for me to save someone; someone who may also be stuck in a storm with me. So that someone stuck in a storm can find their way through it. We have not yet found my way home, God and I. Though for now this is home, I firmly believe deep down in the brightest parts of my heart and soul that I will make it back to land. Watch me.” #blog #blogger #inspirational #religion
